A royal flair surrounds The Versaille Mantel Clock, which is finished in Glen Arbor Cherry on select hardwoods and book matched Elm Burl veneers that are framed with an intricate Boxwood Inlay. Polished brass bun feet and column caps match the bright brass finished bezel, which encircles the white enamel-like dial. Roman numerals and serpentine hands are protected by a convex lens. Black gloss half columns frame the oversize 220mm dial. The New Kieninger Quartz battery operated movement offers the popular Westminster chime and one of Beethoven's greatest masterpieces from his 9th Symphony; Ode to Joy. Either chime plays the tune progressively each quarter hour and offers a separate hour strike to count the time.
